His personal experience has been full of adversities and hardships which have molded him into what he is today. In his opinion, the thing that turned his goals of running his business into reality was that he never let challenges deter him from pursuing what he desired; on the contrary, they have always intensified his willingness to achieve them. And today, he has become the Founder and Chairman of a conglomerate (Danube Group) from being a person who used to do odd jobs for daily survival.

Other than these things, he believes that a true leader doesn’t create followers; a true leader creates more leaders. To achieve this, his strategy is to find the right people to trust, and then empower them to run particular aspects of his business.“It is my people who are my strength and the reason for our roaring success”, he acknowledges.

Mr. Sajan believes that empowering other people has always been vital to his success- it has helped him focus on key business challenges while delegating the responsibility of important jobs to his highly skilled teams. And that is why he believes his vision is to continue to have challenges and competition so that his businesses keep on growing with new innovations.

His favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur is getting the opportunity to constantly rediscover himself and evolve with every passing day. He feels a great sense of gratitude seeing Danube grow, and consequently provide employment opportunities to thousands of people.

Rizwan believes that creativity increases curiosity which in turn drives the desire to learn; it opens up the mind to unexplored paths. He encourages creativity by supporting open-mindedness, fostering an inspirational environment, and offering the right rewards to his employees.
