Prem is a Dubai-based entrepreneur, with business interests in real estate, hospitality, and textiles for over 20 years. Born and raised in Mumbai, India, he has lived in Dubai for over 2 decades, making it his home. Over this period, his growth has been exponential and today, he is a well-respected member of Dubai’s ever-growing business community.
Being the youngest of 5 siblings and a part of a large family, Prem understood and learnt key life skills from a very young age. Prem, being an avid and keen learner, started his professional career outside of his comfort zone, and away from home in a new and unfamiliar country.
His journey to success started out with the formation of Kiran Trading Co LLC over 20 years ago. Today, the company is one of the leading exporters of textile and furnishings, with an international branch in Shanghai, China, under the name of Kiran Trading Shanghai Br. Having seen the fruits of his labour, he also invested in and is now a sizeable stake-holder in two more textile and furnishing companies: New Libas Trading Co. LLC in Dubai, and an overseas company- Maann Exports in Seoul, Korea.
An ardent believer of the famous quote- “Procrastination is the thief of dreams”, Prem is always looking to expand his business portfolio, and today is also the co-owner / stake-holder of a well-established industrial bakery: Bakecraft LLC, Dubai, which supplies confectionery and baked goods to leading 5-star hotels in the Emirate.
Staying true to his ambition and making the most of his discerning eye for profitable investments, Prem along with 2 other partners, entered the Dubai real estate market in the year 2006, leading to the formation of Fortune|5 Investments LLC, Dubai’s largest real estate development underwriters. As Executive Chairman, Prem Gopalani leads the company and its relationships with shareholders, investment committee and board of directors, and is instrumental in the overall structure and business strategy.
Vision:
With a personal belief in the adage- ‘value time, use each second wisely’, Prem’s determination to explore unfamiliar territory has only grown stronger with each business foray, and aids his vision to expand and diversify his portfolio, replacing the fear of the unknown with a curiosity to learn, strive and grow.
