K.S. Parag is the Managing Director at FVC Inc. He is the founding member of FVC in the Middle East with the managing partner for the firm. He has well over 27 years of industry experience in the Communications and IT sector. He played a vital role in transforming the region’s communications landscape through ADNOC’s adoption of the very first video conferencing solution in the Middle East in 1992, and is working with other enterprise companies in the Middle East toward early adoption of the leading edge technology solution as the first TDMA implementation in the region.
A visionary pioneer at the forefront of regional technology innovation in the Communications and Information Technology (IT) sectors, Parag is currently the Managing Director of FVC Inc. – the region’s leading Value Added Distributor (VAD), which operates offices in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kenya and Morocco. The firm is also establishing on-the-ground presence in Nigeria and the Ivory Coast.
Armed with almost three decades of experience in transforming the telecommunications landscape across the Middle East, Africa and West Asia, Parag has evolved FVC from a start-up Rich Media Solutions specialist pioneering Video Streaming technology, into a full-spec Networking and Information Security solutions provider.
With a commitment to increasing clients’ productivity and commercial profitability through innovative enterprise technology solutions delivered via best of breed products and services licensed through the world’s leading suppliers in their fields, FVC has been recognized by Arabian Computer News as the MENA region’s ‘Best VAD in Unified Communications & Collaboration’ in 2012, 2014 and 2015.
FVC has also been recognized by Reseller Middle East as the Best Distributor of the year in 2018 and 2019.
Prior to forming FVC with Co-Founder Bruce Withington in 2000, Parag held senior positions with Agrinde Trading and Zahra Technologies, working with major clients including Etisalat, Nokia, ADNOC, ARAMCO, HCT and BurJuman.
Parag has a Bachelors in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology, he is also the current President of the TiE Dubai Chapter – a non-profit association founded in Silicon Valley in the 1990s which works to foster entrepreneurship via networking events and mentorship programs for start-up founders.
An accomplished speaker, Parag has spoken at countless forums and seminars including the ARAMCO Technology Forum, the Telemedicine Forum in Abu Dhabi, and the Distance Learning Consortium in South Africa.
