DR. ROY CJ

Dr. Roy C J holds the diplomatic position of Honorary Consul of Slovak Republic for the states of Karnataka and Kerala, India. Dr. Roy CJ is the first NRI from the United Arab Emirates to have been appointed to this coveted position.

He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from SBS Business School, Zurich in Switzerland. He is an engineer by qualification and has over 22 years of profound business experience in Multinational Bluechip companies like Hewlett Packard, TVS Electronics, BPL India Ltd and Guest Keen Williams Ltd. Confident Group was founded by Dr. Roy CJ in 2005.

He is the Winner of Numerous Business Awards from the year 2007 till date, from prestigious organizations, the latest of which is being ranked the 14th Most Influential Indian in the Arab world by FORBES magazine for the Middle East, and being ‘One of the 100 Super Rich’ in the Gulf and African Region.

He is a philanthropist with numerous charity initiatives, including 85 open heart surgeries funded by Confident Group and also building close to 100 homes for people who lost their homes due to natural calamities.

Dr. Roy CJ is also a well-known big-budget movie producer. He has produced Padma Bhushan Mohanlal’s movie – “Casanova”, apart from six Kannada movies. He is now the Co-Producer of “Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham” which is an Rs.100 crore movie and is the highest budget Malayalam movie that will be released simultaneously in five languages. This movie features Padma Bhushan Mohanlal and many top stars from South India and is directed by one of the region’s most prolific directors – Mr. Priyadarshan.
