A visionary leader with a keen eye for creating a legacy for sustainable diversified business is presently the Vice Chairman of conglomerate Danube Group. Holding a great story behind the frame, he is known for his spontaneity and business acumen. Starting his career by working as a Sales Executive for one of the biggest corporates Eureka Forbes in Mumbai, India to supporting his brother Mr. Rizwan Sajan along with the new firm back then in UAE and together growing it to now one of the biggest Suppliers of Building Materials and Home Improvement Solutions in the entire MENA region, the journey was not always easy or upwards. His farsightedness and unwavering commitment to only “the Best” is proof that every one of us can triumph over adversity and live our dreams.
Apart from growing the biggest group in the MENA region from strength to strength serving as a prominent leader, he is also a husband, a brother, a father, a cricket aficionado, and much more!
With the vision to build marvels, today he also heads two other essential brands- Milano and Casa Milano that include sanitaryware, tiles, hardware electrical, and water purifiers. Breaking the white and chrome convention, the journey of his Brand Milano started by providing affordable sanitaryware solutions and Casa Milano with luxury sanitaryware solutions.
While achieving a healthy work-life balance can be a juggling act for most people, it is crucial for Mr. Anis. According to him, carefully identifying and properly developing the next generation of leaders is by far the most consequential decision for any entrepreneur. He is deeply attached to his family and always takes precedence over everything else in his life. Anis is married to Rubina Sajan and they have two sons, Mohammed Azhar Sajan and Sahil Sajan.
He is confident and receptive to most of the decisions in his life helping and grooming his children to adopt new work-life practices. According to him, “Potential” is the best predictor of “Future”. So, sharing an optimistic approach with his children and helping them become future leaders is the first thing to do.
Life is where there is passion. Highly passionate about cricket, Mr. Anis Sajan started contributing immensely to revolutionizing cricket prospects in the UAE in the last 2 decades and has owned many successful corporate teams in the past. The passion for sports has led him to be a part of the UAE’s Cricket scene, so much so that he is also fondly known as Mr. Cricket in the UAE. Anis, additionally owned a franchise in Cricket called Bengal Tigers / Delhi Bulls in the very recent launch of a new format T10 Cricket league. With an in-depth understanding of Cricket, Mr. Anis launched “Cricket Unplugged” where he conducts interviews with many big names from the industry.
Making Yoga his Health Mantra and an Ideal Fitness Choice, he is inspiring people to develop qualities in life. According to him, Yoga is the uniting principle of our body and soul and it is the need of the hour to adopt yoga in our daily routine. Supporting the Dubai Fitness Challenge of H.H. Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, he has been even supporting his staff by providing yoga sessions and training in the office. Helping people to move towards a holistic lifestyle and reclaiming the greatest wealth of life- “Happiness”, he is making Yoga his way of life.
